We collect information to provide better AI business planning and founder intelligence tools to entrepreneurs across Africa: • Account Data: When you sign up or sign in (via email or Google OAuth), we collect basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile picture. • Startup & Workspace Inputs: Information you provide during AI interviews, pitch generation, strategic roadmaps, or prompt responses. • Usage & Technical Analytics: Browser details, device information, IP address, and platform interaction telemetry to optimize app performance.

Your business ideas, financials, and strategies represent your competitive edge. • We do NOT sell your startup data or business plans to third parties. • Inputs submitted to our AI co-founder features are processed securely using privacy-focused API endpoints (such as OpenAI and Google Gemini APIs) under strict non-training policies. • Data generated in your workspace is accessible only by your authenticated account.

• Authentication & Storage: Account credentials, sessions, and database entries are stored securely in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies enforcing database isolation per user. • Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.

We use essential cookies and secure HTTP-only cookies managed by Supabase SSR to authenticate your user session and keep you signed in securely across browser navigation. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking cookies.

As a founder on Startup Copilot Africa, you have full control over your personal data: • Access & Export: You can access and export your generated business plans and strategy briefs at any time. • Account Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account, database records, and workspace contents by contacting privacy@startupcopilot.africa.
